PhotoFix AI ("PhotoFix AI", "we", "our", or "us") provides AI-powered photo enhancement, restoration, and style transformation features. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, where images are processed, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

• Photos and image files that you choose to upload for enhancement, restoration, background removal, or style generation.
• Request details related to your selected processing mode, such as enhancement type, output quality, scale factor, prompts, and whether a face was detected.
• Purchase-related information needed to support in-app purchases, such as product ID, package or bundle ID, purchase token or verification data, purchase ID, and transaction date.
• App usage and diagnostics information, such as app opens, enhancement events, paywall views, processing status, and basic device or app identifiers used by Firebase Analytics, Firebase Remote Config, AdMob, Apple, or Google.
• Local app preferences and history stored on your device, such as onboarding completion, language, theme, premium status, credits, and saved enhancement history.
• Support communications if you contact us.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide photo enhancement, restoration, and style generation.
• Upload and process images through our backend and AI provider.
• Deliver generated results back to your device.
• Maintain app functionality such as history, settings, subscriptions, purchase verification, and credits.
• Measure app performance, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
• Serve rewarded ads where enabled.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Where Your Images Are Uploaded and Processed

When you process a photo in PhotoFix AI, your image is transmitted over HTTPS to our backend service and then forwarded to our AI processing provider.

Our backend uses these services to upload your source image, submit AI processing jobs, and retrieve the generated output.

• We do not intentionally maintain a permanent copy of uploaded images on our own backend server as part of normal processing.
• Images may be processed and temporarily stored by third-party service providers as needed to complete your request and deliver the result.
• Generated result images may also be stored locally on your device if you save them or keep them in app history.

4. Third-Party Services

• fal.ai for AI image processing and related job execution.
• Google Firebase for analytics and remote configuration.
• Google AdMob for rewarded ads.
• Apple App Store and Google Play for in-app purchases and subscriptions.

5. In-App Purchases

If you purchase subscriptions or credit packs, billing is handled by Apple or Google through their respective stores. We do not receive your full payment card number. We may receive limited transaction details required to validate purchases, activate premium access, or apply purchased credits.

6. Local Storage on Your Device

PhotoFix AI stores some data locally on your device to keep the app working properly, including settings, credit and premium state, enhancement history metadata, local result file paths, onboarding completion, and usage counters.

If you delete the app, local app data stored inside the app container is generally removed by the operating system. Images that you explicitly save to your photo library remain subject to your device photo storage settings.

7. Data Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including delivering the service, maintaining purchase integrity, troubleshooting issues, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on whether data is stored locally on your device, in service logs, or by third-party processors.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through the app. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure.

9. Your Choices

You may choose not to upload photos, not to use paid features, or not to save generated images to your device. You can also remove local app data by deleting the app or clearing app data where your platform allows it.

10. Children's Privacy

PhotoFix AI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. International Processing

Because our backend and third-party providers may operate in different countries, your information may be processed outside your country of residence.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised policy.
